Training Camps and Seminars for Runners


Get in shape in the most beautiful surroundings: in the healthy air and the great outdoors of the Harz forests and mountains. A well-marked system of trails goes through shady forests, past idyllic lakes and ponds, and onto mountaintops with breathtaking views.


The countryside around Bad Grund provides several different types of topography, ranging from relatively flat areas to very steep climbs. One can set up a perfect program for any level of training—for beginners as well as for experienced runners seeking challenges.

With its large wellness area, which includes an indoor swimming pool and saunas, the Harz Natural Food Hotel is perfectly suited for a runners’ training camp, especially since our boss is a highly-trained marathon runner himself and will want to show you the nicest sights in the West Harz in person!

We also offer raw food classes, yoga, advice about running shoes, and seminars on health diets for athletes.

And this is what our schedule might look like:


08.00 a.m.
a 20-minute run with morning exercises



a huge breakfast with a lot of fruit and vegetables



a visit to stalactite cave, the Kaiserstadt City of Goslar, a mining museum, etc.
12.30 p.m.
quick light lunch and then a rest
01.30 p.m.
a long guided jogging tour through the Harz mountains; when the weather is good, swimming in one of the numerous lakes and ponds 



relaxation in the hotel’s wellness area—with swimming pool, saunas and infra-red cabin. Massages can be ordered extra. 



Dinner with delicious dishes from our raw food cuisine



lecture, evening exercises, or socializing in the living room in front of the fireplace, if desired

Groups and clubs with more than 30 people can prepare their own meal in the evenings, if desired, and use the hotel's teaching kitchen. It is also possible to rent the whole hotel (maximum of 45 beds). Please contact us in advance!
